Carie brings over fifteen years of pastoral and teaching experience as the Founder, President, and Executive Director of Believing God’s Promises Ministries. She serves full-time in ministry, providing biblical leadership, teaching, and discipleship to individuals and churches. Carie is supported by and works alongside her husband and children, who share in the vision and mission of the ministry. She is committed to proclaiming God’s Word to the nations and equipping believers to walk with confidence, authority, and faith in the promises of God.

Nathan Smith - Vice President/Treasurer

Nathan serves alongside and in support of his wife, Carie, helping advance her God-given vision to reach the world with the truth of God’s Word. He provides pastoral care and spiritual support to both those who serve and those they minister to, with a heart to encourage and strengthen the people of God. A devoted husband and father, Nathan also co-owns the family business, R-Trinity, through which he helps meet practical needs by giving generously, donating the majority of what is collected to individuals and families in need.

What We Believe

1. The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. It is our final authority in all matters of faith and life.

2. One True God

We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
— Matthew 28:19

3. Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and will return again.

“Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:3–4

4. Salvation by Grace

We believe that salvation is a free gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ—not by our works, but by God’s grace.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”
— Ephesians 2:8–9

5. The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit lives within every believer, giving power to live for Christ, guiding us into truth, and producing spiritual fruit.

6. The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers. We are called to worship, grow together, serve others, and share the good news of Jesus.

“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”
— 1 Corinthians 12:27

7. God’s Promises

We believe every promise God has made is trustworthy and fulfilled in Jesus. His Word is our foundation.

“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ. And so through him the ‘Amen’ is spoken by us to the glory of God.”
— 2 Corinthians 1:20

We believe in living by faith, walking in God’s truth, and holding firmly to the promises He has made in His Word. We invite you to join us in trusting and proclaiming His faithfulness.
